Thinking About 2009 Trends

Some of you might remember a series of posts about 2008 trends that I wrote last year. Well, I plan to do it again. I’ll be looking across a number of different sources to find a wide variety of 2009 predictions. And I’ll comment on the ones that I think are most important.

To get everyone thinking ahead to next year, here’s the “official” color for 2009:  PANTONE 14-0848 Mimosa. This has nothing to do with the trends that I’ll be looking at, but it seemed like a nice lively way to start focusing on next year. Even if 2009 turns out to be a dark year for business, it’ll at least be full of bright colors.
